The Launching of Xiaomi Redmi Note
Xiaomi has successfully launched its 5.5-inch Redmi Note last month, a super low price android device featuring octa-core power only for $200 or less. Hugo Barra, Xiaomi Global Vice President, has already revealed the latest update about this newest smartphone for the Asian market. He updated that this exclusive Redmi Note was made available in May 2014 to Taiwanese customers as well as to customers in Singapore and Hong Kong. There will be further markets probably in the future.
As mentioned earlier, Redmi Note is equipped with octa-core MediaTek MTK6592 chipset, having a 720p IPS and 5.5 inches full lamination display. It also features Dual-SIM with 3200 mAh battery. The more advanced and powerful 2GB, 1.7GHz model is available for only $161 or RMB999 which is just $32 more. Redmi Note will certainly run on MIUIv5 that is based on the Android Jellybean 4.2. Xiaomi Redmi Note Launching Hits 100k Units Sold Out in 34 Minutes
This is the best part about the launching, and this surely excites not just the customers but also all those individuals behind Xiaomi launching. As most of us have already known, Xiaomi is widely recognized for their highly affordable android devices that do not compromise quality and high-end hardware. So it was no longer a surprise that each time the company releases their new device, consumers are usually gobbling it up helping the company to achieve impressive and successful sales record.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note is not an exception to this. As a matter of fact, this China’s manufacturer successfully managed to sell 100,000 units of its Redmi Note in just a matter of 34 minutes. This does not actually beat the 100,000 successful sale of Redmi aka Hongmi last November 2013, but this remains to be a hit after all. The Xiaomi Redmi Note is sold at $161 or RMB999. This is loaded with amazing features that will surely convince many consumers to buy.
Although this Redmi Note also launched its lower spec version with 8GB capacity of internal storage and 1GB RAM for only $129 or RMB799, it somehow does not gain popularity during the launching. As it is still having octa-core chip with everything remains the same, so basically the additional RAM alone cost $32. It is therefore very unlikely to have consumers who will be interested in the cheaper version if the 2GB RAM of Redmi Note is already available.
With its successful 100k units sold out in 34 minutes, many individuals are surely looking forward with more Xiaomi launching. International consumers has been aspiring to learn more about Redmi Note and hoping that this smartphone device can expand its worldwide reach all across Asian markets. If you are one of these individuals, be ready for more of the newest and grandest Xiaomi launching.
